So I've been wonderin'.

I just noticed this funky marking on my leg the other day. What exactly is with that?

Some kind of magical seal or somethin'?

I believe we all have them on various parts of our bodies, Zeke .. I'm uncertain if they tie into the fact that not maintaining your journal leads to letters appearing on your body until you do so or not ..

Yes .. spread up your limbs and only begin to fade after you've posted. It doesn't seem to be permanent, so long as you do so .. but I can't say. People tend to post rather quickly upon finding letters randomly spreading across their skin.

It's great! I think people really take plants and stuff for granted.

Afraid not. I showed up here, what, three or four days ago? People were wonderin' if I'd died or something and I'd get my memories back eventually. But it's been a while and I still don't remember anything about this place, or th'people. I've been wrackin' my brains but I'm pretty sure I've been at a place called Vertiline up until the other day.

Yeah, wouldn't surprise me, actually. I know I do.

Maybe it's on your back. Most people don't look at their backs.

You shouldn't. Haven't you ever gone outside and just... sat down? In the grass? It's the best thing ever.
