Well, this is kinda late, but what th'heck. Phichela was a few days ago, so I made some cakes for y'all.

[Here, a plateful of little (what should be but are kind of deformed) heart-shaped cakes, with a pink cream! Delicious!]

So hug your neighbor and don't drag mud into th'barracks.

[And once he's done with this he will be SWEEPING THE FLOORS and cleaning the windows and giving people hugs (if they promise not to murder him for it).]

And there's dogs around here, right? I've run into 'em before, so if anyone'd point me in their direction that'd be great.

It was just a suggestion. Kinda sucks doin' it all by myself.

[There's silence for a moment before he replies.]

On th'second floor.

[He didn't respond back as he made his way down to the 2nd floor. He wasn't exactly sure what he was looking for, well aside from a male and with several cleaning supplies. It took him a bit, but he eventually found the cook.]

So you're the one going crazy with 'spring cleaning'?

[If she's the one who has to sweep out the place, she'll track mud in whenever she wants.

And she does have to sweep out the place, or Rem won't give her her cards.]

Or you can visit when I am not here, but sometimes I take the dogs to hunt with me.

Awwww, giving doggies treats, that's sweet. I wish we had Phichela in my world! I've given so many treats to dogs. I'd be rolling in luck by now.

Do the dogs get hugs too?

[He sounds curious. Phichela sounds sort of like Valentine's Day, but not exactly, and Derek likes learning about new things.]

What're you looking for dogs for?

[...mostly Derek's asking because he might be one of those dogs Zeke's run into.]

[He observed the other and leaned against the wall.]

Well, how else am I suppose to refer to you?

My name's Zeke.

Nice to meet you, Zeke.

[He gave a nod of approval, not moving from his spot. He was eyeing the cook's tattoo.]

Sandrath.

It's great to meet ya, Sandrath.

[Zeke notices the staring right away, but he's pretty used to that. A giant tattoo on your face is kind of hard to miss.

He props up the broom against the wall and holds out his hand.]

[It takes him a moment to realize that Zeke wants to shake his hand then glances down at the limb offered to him. He reaches out to shake the other's hand.

He moves to open his mouth to say something but ends up just closing it. That was really odd, usually he had things to say but nothing was coming to him at the moment.]

[That is perfectly okay.

You know why?

Because Zeke's GOT THIS.

[Sandrath was rather taken back by the sudden hug. He glanced down at the chef currently embracing him with a raised eyebrow. Then he remembered the whole event that was being celebrated.]

Oh yeah, that. Happy Phichela to you too.

[He returned a hug as well.]

[Maybe she should have asked that first. Oh well.]

They're in the forest. At least the big black one is. He usually shows up when I bring him a stake.
