Well, this is kinda late, but what th'heck. Phichela was a few days ago, so I made some cakes for y'all.

[Here, a plateful of little (what should be but are kind of deformed) heart-shaped cakes, with a pink cream! Delicious!]

So hug your neighbor and don't drag mud into th'barracks.

[And once he's done with this he will be SWEEPING THE FLOORS and cleaning the windows and giving people hugs (if they promise not to murder him for it).]

And there's dogs around here, right? I've run into 'em before, so if anyone'd point me in their direction that'd be great.

It's one of th'eight major festivals. Sorta a spring-is-almost-here-get-ready, fertility, family-appreciation thing. One of th'smaller and more private celebrations.

Phichela sounds like the best uh...holiday ever?...celebration ever?...the best whatever it is ever!

There are puppies! I've visited them before! They are in a small building pretty close to the first floor barracks. It's just to the right of them and pushed up against the wall.

What do you need the dogs for?

Well, dogs used t'be sacrificed for this festival, but that sorta went out of practice.

So people just make special treats for them instead as kinda like an offering for a promise of good crops and children, if you're lookin' to have one, or maybe just a relationship.

That sorta thing. It's good luck.

Awwww, giving doggies treats, that's sweet. I wish we had Phichela in my world! I've given so many treats to dogs. I'd be rolling in luck by now.
