Oi.

Hey everyone.

It's summer solstice time. Sunset'll be in six hours or so, and everything's all set up at th'bonfire.

Couldn't find any fireworks, but hey, we've got plenty of marshmallows.



[Zeke and Raven set up a bunch of towels and places to sit around the bonfire. And a table with marshmallows and all kinds of other things that can be cooked on a stick. There are also small buckets filled with water sitting around. Which Zeke may or may not be dumping on people. (Characters are free to retaliate. This is summer, after all.)

Oh, and Rapunzel has a nice big cake with her name on it in the middle. With candles and everything.

[She nudges through the crows to come up to him, giving him a smile and a big hug.]

[He rose his arms up briefly when she came over to hug him.]

[There was a thought of lifting her up and doing a quick spin with her, but it passed soon enough. He was surprised she didn't comment about the moving tattoo that had curled its way around him.]

Fine, for the most part. Were you waiting for me?

[Rapunzel grins at him, eyes on his before lets go.]

Oh, of course I was. [Little...bit of flirting. What do.]

If I had known that, I would have arrived sooner.

[His own mischevious smirk made its way to his face, quite amused by Rapunzel's response. Sadly, it only lasted for a moment as he sighed.]

Unfortunately, I was unaware that it was your birthday and I was unable to think of something to give you.

[She waves her hand and shakes her head.]

Oh -- no, it's all right! It's just a Solstice gathering. It just so happens to also be my birthday, as well. [Rapunzel smiles and reaches to give his arm a little squeeze.]

It's really quite all right.

Well that seems rather convient.

[At his arm being squeezed, he glanced down at Rapunzel's hand before back at her face. He couldn't help but tilt his head slightly.]

Is something the matter?

Nope! [She shakes her head cheerfully.]

Not at all. I'm just glad that everyone seems to be having a good time and that people came to celebrate the summer, and with me.

Then I'm to assume that you're feeling rather affectionate at the moment?

[He moved his arm slightly, the one she was holding on to. Then an idea sprung to his mind and he crouched down to be more level with her.]

So, just how old are you now?

[She drops his arm and smiles.]

I suppose so, yes. And, I'm nineteen now.

Should I ask why I'm the target of this or have you been treating everyone equally?

[He was geniune with his inquiry. A small chuckle escaped his lips as he kept his gaze locked with hers.]

So close to becoming an adult.

[Before she could answer, he rose up briefly to place a kiss on her forehead.]

Oh, I suppose I've been friendly with everyone tonight! [It's her birthday. Affection and hugs are warranted!]

...Aren't I? [Confused, she blushes a deep purple when he kisses her forehead, and smiles sheepishly at him.]

Then I should be glad I'm not the only one getting special treatment.

[It was hard to say if he felt a little unhappy or was being truthful about it. He chuckled at her reaction and grinned a bit more.]

Yes, by a few years but I really don't have to say that, do I?

[The fallen arch-angel didn't comment about being kind. He was only putting on a well practiced act to appear that way.]
