Oi.

Hey everyone.

It's summer solstice time. Sunset'll be in six hours or so, and everything's all set up at th'bonfire.

Couldn't find any fireworks, but hey, we've got plenty of marshmallows.



[Zeke and Raven set up a bunch of towels and places to sit around the bonfire. And a table with marshmallows and all kinds of other things that can be cooked on a stick. There are also small buckets filled with water sitting around. Which Zeke may or may not be dumping on people. (Characters are free to retaliate. This is summer, after all.)

Oh, and Rapunzel has a nice big cake with her name on it in the middle. With candles and everything.

[Her hand freezes momentarily in the motion of stuffing another marshmallow into her bag. But she quickly continues what she's doing, only partially glancing in San's direction.]

I was intending on just eating them.

[dominateartimus]

They tend to be a lot better when warm and half melted or with chocolate.

[He stepped over, reaching over Kloe's shoulder to grab one for himself.]

Not one for eating in front of company, are you?

[Kloe plops one more marshmallow inside her bag before closing it up.]

Are you here for the marshmallows or to harass me?

[dominateartimus]

I'm here for a snack.

[He grabs another before moving away, popping one of the doughy starched sweet in to his mouth. He chewed slightly before muttering.]

...Maybe some conversation as well.

[abstinentzombie]

Conversation, huh?

[Kloe finally turned around to face him and-]

What the fuck happened to you?

[dominateartimus]

[He swallowed the marshmellow and tilted his head at her question.]

What do you mean? I'm perfectly fine.

[abstinentzombie]

Your tattoo is spreading all over your face.

[Which is hilarious for whatever reason. Pay no attention to her attempts to smother her laughter.]

And?

[He stared at her blankly, unphased by Kloe's laughter.]

You look fucking ridiculous.

[dominateartimus]

It'll disappear once I make an entry.

[He gave a shrug before running a hand under his chin. Oh devious thoughts, will you ever leave him?]

Although, I guess it is quite amusing to have it wrapped around me like this, resembling a snake.

[Mild sarcasm? Maybe.]

Well I could have said something else.

[He tugged at the collar of his shirt, revealing a little more of that chain of letters.]

I doubt you'd appreciate that.

You're right. Thanks for being so damn considerate.

[Kloe reaches into her bag to pull out one of the marshmallows.]

There are probably children around.

[Om nom marshmallow.]

[He chuckles at the reply and rolls his eyes before snapping his fingers for a flame. He was planning on heating up his second marshmellow.]

I kind of doubt that.

[abstinentzombie]

What, you haven't seen them running around?

[Watching that flame warily, yeup.]

[dominateartimus]

[He scorched the marshmellow to a nice color before pausing.]

There's not that many present and are we really talking about children?

[He blew out the flame and popped the warm item in to his mouth.]

[abstinentzombie]

You're right. I hate kids.

[She really does.

Kloe pulls out another marshmallow and looks it over.]

Warming these up sounds like a good idea.

[dominateartimus]

[He enjoyed the food before answering.]

Well, they have a bonfire here for a reason. I think you need to find a stick and skewer it.

[There was another shrug from him, slightly unsure if that was the right thing to do regarding warming it up.]

[abstinentzombie]

Yeah, very helpful.

[She grabs one of the skewers off the table, sticks her marshmallow on it, and promptly walks off toward the bonfire.]

[dominateartimus]

[There was a small scoff at her comment before trailing behind her.]

Was that an invitation?

[abstinentzombie]

Not exactly.

[Kloe picks a spot around the bonfire with no one nearby to start toasting her marshmallow.]

[dominateartimus]

So in other words, get lost?

[abstinentzombie]

[She almost didn't answer.]

No, that's not what I meant.

[dominateartimus]

Then what did you mean?

[He crossed his arms and watched her.]

[abstinentzombie]

If I wanted you to get lost I would've told you to fuck off already.

[You know, like she usually does.

Right now she's just. Awkwardly trying not to look at him very much.

Also whoops her marshmallow is on fire she's going to take care of that.]
